Caylin Blockley
In 2019, Caylin assumed the role of Director of Alumni Relations at the Jindal School of Management (JSOM) at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Since joining the team, Caylin has made several significant contributions to JSOM, working to engage the JSOM alumni base which has grown to over 50,000. JSOM was established in 1975 and is the largest of UT Dallas’ eight schools. Caylin coordinates JSOM alumni initiatives with UT Dallas’ overall alumni relations team to provide meaningful engagement opportunities benefiting our alumni, students, the institution, and the larger community. These include the JSOM Dean’s Circle, D-12 Dinners, a virtual book club, alumni chapter events, JSOM’s Comets Giving Day initiatives, and a newly created mentoring program for undergraduate students. Caylin works closely with other Development team members, the Career Management Center, and the Marketing and External Relations team to coordinate campaigns for each of these programs. During COVID, while many events were canceled and/or transitioned to virtual events, Caylin ensured that JSOM maintained a significant online presence to target and engage their alumni in a variety of ways. In addition to his role as Director of Alumni Relations, Caylin works with undergraduate students serving as a lecturer in the business communications department and serves as a representative for the school at CASE events.
