Although she began her career as a journalist, Angela Wegrecki has spent the better part of the last 13 years in private K-12 and higher education communications. She has won numerous national awards for alumni and development publication writing, admissions marketing collateral and website writing and design, and currently oversees communications, marketing, social media, internal engagement and special events for the University of Michigan's Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Wegrecki graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and earned a master's degree in organizational leadership from Cleary University. She is currently working on her APR.
