CASE Multi-Cultural Network

The CASE Multi-Cultural Network was created in 2019 to challenge the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) issues in the Education Advancement sector with the aim to help diversify the sector, ensuring that talented individuals from all backgrounds are attracted and retained.

The Network aligns with CASE’s mission to create a global network of diverse educational advancement professionals – working across Alumni Relations, Communications, Fundraising, Development, Marketing, and Advancement services – who will support, challenge, and inspire one another by sharing experiences, best practices, and resources that help them stay engaged in the sector.

It provides a safe platform for members to connect and exchange insights about trends, lessons learnt, successes and global challenges. Our promise: be an ally and an advocate.

Purpose
  • Empower members from diverse lived experiences to excel professionally and move onto next the stages of their career in advancement.
  • Provide development and learning opportunities to members who wish to deepen and increase their knowledge and understanding of diverse living communities, and the challenges that they are facing in advancement.
Objectives
  • To promote a lifelong network and the progression of its members.
  • To challenge the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion issues in the advancement sector while encouraging best practices and providing guidance.
  • To showcase and celebrate the successes of individuals in the global and cultural space, in order to inspire and engage members and beyond.
  • To help raise the group profile and become a key influencer in shaping the CASE advancement talent pipeline.
  • To create interest and motivate its members to participate in CASE’s activities and initiatives to help diversify the advancement profession through the delivery of the network activities.
