The Fall/Winter 2017 issue of UCalgary Alumni Magazine was designed to mark Canada’s 150th anniversary with our own litany of 150 bragging rights. Because we are a young university (52 years old) that lives in what has been dubbed “Canada’s most enterprising city,” we wanted the tone to be bold, hip, clever, and a little sassy. That tone was to be reflected in the magazine’s overall look and feel — precisely why we loaded the entire feature well with 150 snappy shorts.
