Now in its third year of operation, the PCOM Opportunities Academy is a two-week academic summer camp experience designed to inspire Hispanic/Latino and African American high school students to pursue a degree and/or career in the STEM and healthcare professions. Students have the opportunity to augment and accelerate their STEM skills, learn about the college and medical school admissions process, explore career possibilities, and learn interactively in PCOM’s clinical simulation and anatomy labs and through field trips to local scientific institutions.
