“Taking Care of Your Mind”
From the Nominator
In the midst of the pandemic, multimedia products were created for the Taking Care of Your Mind program to attend to the university’s community (90,000 students and 20,000 collaborators), and the population at large. This was an initiative for support in areas such as peace of mind, emotional wellbeing, coping with loneliness, anxiety, and lack of sleep, as well as advice on doing exercise at home, nutrition, home entertainment, and developing personal and family relationships.
This was all done with the advice of specialists in areas such as medicine, sports, nutrition, and psychology from TecSalud, the university’s hospital system; and from teachers and the Institute of Wellbeing and Happiness Sciences of Tecmilenio, the Tec’s sister university, which specializes in scientific research into human wellbeing.
The digital content strategy for this topic was launched in March, as soon as the university decided to close onsite classes; a large part of the logistics and editorial operation of the team at CONECTA –the official news platform of Tec de Monterrey–was realigned to this end.
In total, more than 100 videos, 50 infographics, and 10 podcasts were made on diverse subjects and in different formats, which were shared through the Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Spotify accounts of CONECTA and Tec de Monterrey.
