Special Events: In-Person (Single-Day)
Entries should be an in-person special event that occurs on a single day, or a series of related activities that occur on the same day and have the same purpose. Events can have an internal or external audience. Judges will look for strategy, execution, and outcomes. The event can have a hybrid in-person/online component, but the primary focus should have been on the in-person audience.
For example:
Inaugurations
Campaign kickoffs or celebrations
Employment fairs
Fundraisers
Judges will score nominations from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in these five areas:
Overall concept and creativity
Ability to serve as a model for other institutions
Audience experience
Impact and results
Use of resources (budget, people, and time) and return on investment
Judges may also consider:
Planning and execution
Quality and clarity of nomination and supporting materials
Special circumstances/overcoming adversity
