Bio

A graduate of the University of Akron, with a B.A. in History, Becky began her non-profit career at a regional historical society.  She worked for 15 years in museum operations and community engagement before joining Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana as the Director of Development in July, 2014.  In 2020, Becky received a Certificate with Distinction, in Philanthropic Psychology from the Institute of Sustainable Philanthropy.

Throughout her 20+ year non-profit career, Becky remains passionate about and to connected to donors and volunteers in her community.  Her philanthropic work focuses on; donor communications, grants, corporate and individual giving, direct mail, stewardship, events, major gifts, and capital campaigns (to name a few).   

Becky lives in Cleveland, Ohio where she leads a life filled with hope, love, family, and lots of history.  She’s a Board member of Greater Cleveland Volunteers and Past President (and current advisor) to the Forum for Volunteer Administrators.  Ultimately, she believes by work and deed, donors and volunteers are the true heart of every community.  They have the power to change their communities for good
