Beth is Head of Communications and Public Affairs at University Alliance (the voice of professional and technical universities), where she leads the organisation’s media, communications, public affairs, and campaigning strategies. Prior to joining UA, Beth was campaign manager at Universities UK, developing and leading the MadeAtUni campaign, to drive public support for universities. Before this, she led on political and public affairs at Universities Wales. Her career began in the student movement, where she held various elected roles including president of the National Union of Students in Wales; during which she was a member of the Welsh Government ‘Diamond review’ into education funding and student support. Beth was also an Executive Committee Member for the European Students’ Union in Brussels, where she managed the organisation's advocacy strategies within the UN and other intergovernmental organisations. 

She holds a degree in Education Policy and Sociology from Cardiff University and a Master’s in Education Policy and International Development from the University of Bristol.
