A member of Flinders University's senior executive team, Callista Thillou is the executive director, communication, marketing and engagement, with responsibility for the University's alumni and advancement, external engagement, brand and communications strategy.

Callista has held strategic roles in higher education both nationally and internationally. Before returning to Australia, Callista was responsible for leading the UK Higher Education International Unit. Prior to this, she was the director of communications and Government Relations at the then Australian Vice-Chancellors Committee, now Universities Australia. 

Callista is on the board of Engagement Australia, Flinders University Athena Swan Governance Committee, Enterprise Bargaining Committee, and is leading the Gender Equity Strategy and Values Projects at Flinders.
