Bio

Cameron McCoy, Ph.D., is AVP for Economic Engagement at Lehigh University where he leads enterprise-wide external engagements, aligns careers and economic development, and facilitates institutional innovation. McCoy completed undergraduate degrees at Washington State University and graduate degrees at Oklahoma. His research combines economics and educational administration to explore allocative inefficiency in boundary spanning functions of US higher education. He is a frequent speaker on university business collaboration and serves on the editorial board for University-Industry Magazine. McCoy serves on the Boards of Directors for the Association of University Research Parks and the University-Industry Innovation Network, and is a leading member of the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities. He was previously an AVP for the Association of University Technology Managers and on the board of Network of Academic Corporate Relations Officers. He is a graduate of the Academy for Innovative Higher Education Leadership and is an ACE Fellow.
