- We have determined a strategic intent that will define the competencies and standards for the profession of advancement, and lead and champion their dissemination and application across the world’s educational institutions.
- We will ensure advancement professionals have a clear set of skills and competencies that are identified and taught at every step of their journey.
- We will speak more thoughtfully with the team of leaders responsible for advancement across our member institutions, so their resources are better leveraged, and their teams are better equipped to achieve institutional goals.
- We will alter our own processes internally to spend more staff time in direct service of members, and less time on infrastructure and non-revenue activities.
-
We will become more staff driven. We will use volunteer time and resources thoughtfully and will use staff time and expertise more deliberately to deliver on our mission and strategic intent.
