The National University of Singapore (NUS) has provided continuing education alongside degree programmes for decades. In the last 10 years, as the lifelong learning movement gathered pace in Singapore, the university also began to rationalise and coordinate the lifelong learning programme for alumni across its many schools and departments. In this session, we will discuss how we obtained a better understanding of our alumni’s needs in lifelong learning in 2023, and how the data gathered from various sources helped to inform our plans and decisions. We will also discuss: what we tried, some dead ends we arrived at, and what has worked for us.
