Speaker(s): Zurria Qureshi, Mentoring Manager, University of Westminster
Roundtable
Delivering high-quality and impactful University mentoring programmes requires a lot of effort to sustain, so ambitions to expand can often feel daunting and impossible. With the demand for mentoring growing extensively over the years, the University of Westminster introduced a brand-new type of group mentoring as an innovative way to bring alumni into the classroom and provide mentoring benefits to hundreds more students annually.
In this session we will share how we’ve collaborated with academics to embed mentoring into the curriculum, accessed ‘hard to reach’ students and developed a scalable group mentoring model that can be implemented in any discipline.
