As the talent shortage continues to put additional strain on advancement shops across the country, ballooning job descriptions, and sprawling scopes of work have often times replaced extended hiring searches. For the shrinking frontline fundraising team, this can also mean fewer communications partners and resources with less bandwidth to support the big idea fundraising strategies driving the impact giving engine propelling mega campaigns and top-tier principal giving. In this session we will work through three strategies to build stronger partnerships between communications staff and development officers with an eye on strategy, efficiency, and cross-functional teamwork.
