In 2020, Boston University concluded a university-wide strategic-planning process, which set forth the bold vision for BU through 2030. So, they hit the road with the goals of cultivating relationships with prospective donors, stewarding current donors, and paving the way for the next campaign. In this session, explore how BU designed a national roadshow that maximized their returns on engagement (ROE)… throughout a presidential transition. Through a presidential event series, which engaged staff across the university for multidimensional engagement experiences and data-driven outreach, BU reactivated its alumni base in key markets across the country, inspiring new gift conversations and levels of engagement which poise BU to enter the next phase of its campaign efforts
