Year One: A Guide To Reimagining Student Initiatives In Alumni Engagement
In the day and age where reboot and remix culture permeate mainstream society, an emphasis has been placed on drawing on old ideas and making them new. In the field of alumni engagement, the tactic of revitalizing the “old” and making “a new” through an innovative lens is a long-standing tradition to better engage students, graduates, friends, and families of university communities. Throughout "Year One," attendees will gain detailed insights into the rigorous journey of the re-imagination of student engagement programs at Kennesaw State University’s Office of Alumni and Constituent Engagement. In the spirit of Remaking, Reducing, and Rebooting, the goal is to empower professionals to increase student impact, leverage university resources, and improve cross-departmental collaboration.
