Federal Funding Task Force
CASE is proud to announce the release of the updated 2023 Federal Funding Report for Education:
This report is possible thanks to the 2023 Federal Funding Task Force. FFTF members are community college grant professionals who meet with federal program officers each year.
The FFTF by the numbers
Within the 200+ grant programs included in the report is information on dozens of Department of Education programs (TRIO, Title III, Title V, and more), the National Science Foundation’s Department of Undergraduate Education programs, and more.
The report is a CASE member benefit. If you need help logging in or joining CASE, contact membership@case.org.

2024 Federal Funding Task Force
November 3–6, 2024 | Washington, D.C.
In these challenging times, it is more important than ever to communicate the value of our institutions, illustrate the positive impact of federal grants and programs, and advocate for our essential role as partners with federal program officers.
The CASE Federal Funding Task Force (FFTF) is a network of volunteers who meet annually with federal agencies on behalf of the higher education grant community. Our volunteers are grants professionals, primarily from community colleges, but also from non-research colleges offering four-year degrees. Whether you are new to federal grants or experienced with them, you are welcome to serve as an FFTF team member.
As a Task Force member, you would:
- Participate in meetings in Washington, D.C., Nov. 3-6, 2024, with federal program officers and other FFTF team members.
- Be the first to hear about a variety of grant programs & opportunities, pilot grant projects, and what we may expect to see for future funding opportunities and federal trends.
- Learn about other resources agencies have to assist us in developing better proposals, how to communicate with agencies and program officers to better serve our interests as colleges, and how colleges can advocate for and support federal agencies’ missions and priorities within our communities.
- Build a strong network with other talented grant professionals who will become an invaluable resource as you pursue grants for your institution.
Participation on the FFTF is FREE and open to all CASE members.
(Participants are responsible for their own transportation and lodging.) If you are unsure about your institution’s CASE membership status or if your institution is not a CASE member, contact membership@case.org.
The 2024 FFTF application will open in March 2024. Members will receive an email from CASE, and we will post the application link in our online Communities.
