Dee Dee Mendoza is managing director of West Coast Advancement for Dartmouth College, where she works largely with alumni in startups and venture capital to develop their philanthropic support. She has led efforts to launch Higher Ed's two most prominent pre-exit philanthropy platforms: the Dartmouth Founders Project, and the Berkeley Founders Pledge, which won a CASE Grand Gold Award. Her teams' work to maximize philanthropy from the entrepreneurial community has been featured in CASE's Currents magazine and the Chronicle of Philanthropy. In addition to speaking and blogging, she continues to advance the field through independent research and as an advisor to numerous emerging programmes.
