I joined the University of Birmingham in 2017, taking up the position of MBA Alumni Relations Manager, having spent the previous 12 years working as an Events Manager in the private sector.

My role is both varied and enjoyable, with a focus on building a community that benefits alumni, students, and academics through effective engagement.  Working closely with colleagues from careers, recruitment, and research, I develop alumni volunteering opportunities that enhance our students’ experience and outcomes.   In addition, I’m involved with communications, events, and fundraiser support – all with the strategic goal of supporting our community and enhancing the University’s reputation. 

When not working I enjoy walking, baking, learning French, and studying history with The Open University.
