Bio

Erica has devoted her career to higher education, having served more than 10 years in a variety of student-focused capacities. Prior to joining the Alumni Relations team at the University of Maryland, College Park, Erica managed orientation, new student programming and leadership development programs at American University, Butler University and Missouri State University. She also was heavily involved as an alumni leader for her alma mater, Northwestern University. 

She currently serves as the Program Manager for Alumni Volunteers at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is responsible for managing the affinity alumni networks, a diverse population which includes a total of more than 50,000 alums, and associated programming. She also oversees alumni community service efforts, which include an annual monthly focus on doing good across the country. Erica has worked to build relationships with alums in a variety of affinity groups and has led several inaugural initiatives, including Black Alumni Weekend and the Women’s Leadership Development Conference. 

Erica received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University and her Master’s of Education degree, with a concentration in Student Affairs from Missouri State University.
