Bio

Erin Eigenbrot is the Director of Major Gifts in the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Erin’s experience in development and alumni relations spans over 15 years when she first entered the industry as a student phonathon caller at her alma mater, Miami University, where she earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees. Prior to her time at the University of Virginia, Erin served as the Chief Development Officer at the University of South Carolina in both the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education.  Prior to that, she worked in athletics development at the University of Central Florida, also her hometown. Erin’s desire to pursue a career in higher education also began at Miami as a three-time collegiate national champion on the varsity synchronized skating team. It was through those intercollegiate experiences she realized she wanted to spend her career as an advocate for higher education.  Erin has been volunteering with CASE for nearly five years now and is honored to serve as a DIII Co-Chair for the annual conference in February 2023.  Erin now resides in Baltimore, MD with her husband (Steve) who also works in higher education, daughter (Sutton, one year old), and puppy daughter (Riley).
