Bio

Gina Fiorillo is currently the senior director of annual giving at Rutgers University Foundation where she manages a multichannel annual giving program. Through this program she oversees annual giving programs for three universities, the health division as well as a Division I athletics program. In 2016, the annual giving program raised more than 11.5 million dollars in support of the Rutgers University system. Rutgers University, one of the original colonial colleges, is celebrating its 250th anniversary this November.

Prior to her work at Rutgers, she built the first fundraising program for Slow Food USA, the U.S. arm of an international advocacy organization that promotes sustainable agriculture and food traditions. There, she managed membership campaigns and the annual giving program, developed numerous grant proposals, and worked with the executive director and board to develop the organizations first five-year strategic plan.

Her nearly 20 years' experience in fundraising and advancement began as an event manager for the George Street Playhouse and includes opportunities as the director of annual giving for the associate alumnae of Douglass College, and director of alumni affairs at Kean University.

Fiorillo earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in public administration from Rutgers University.
