Dr. Lee holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (machine learning) from the University of Alberta. He leads the data science team at Fundmetric. His research is dedicated to artificial intelligence in the non-profit sector and he has three published papers including at the IEEE conference for his work using convolutional and recurrent neural networks to map the donor journey. Prior to joining Fundmetric, Dr. Lee built a system to provide relevant stories to baseball commentators based on live in-game situations.
