Jennie’s career is defined by a passion for developing programs and communicating stories that build community around impactful organizations. In her current role, she manages the UC San Diego Alumni Events and Strategy team in delivering an annual calendar of three signature weekends – Homecoming, Triton Leaders Conference, and Alumni Celebration Weekend – as well as regional events in domestic and international markets, career fairs, and alumni professional development events. Her team also leads alumni marketing, communications, and systems strategy and supports annual giving and parent and family event efforts. A proud Triton alumna, Jennie graduated with a B.A. in literature/writing and has worked at UC San Diego for more than 11 years. Prior career experiences include public relations, marketing, community engagement, and special events management at companies ranging from national corporations to local businesses and agencies. Personal passions include artmaking, writing, and spending time with her family.
