Bio

Jennifer Doak-Mathewson is the director of engagement and acquisition at the UConn Foundation. She leads a hybrid marketing and annual giving department, responsible for marketing alumni relations programming and broadening the donor pipeline through email, social media, text-to-give, web, print, and the phonathon. She leads digital efforts for the organization, including crowdfunding, a comprehensive website redesign, and UConn's giving day. During the course of the last two fiscal years, her team reversed declining donor counts and integrated alumni and donor email communications across campus.

Prior to arriving at the foundation in 2014, she was the online communications specialist at CASE headquarters in Washington, D.C., where she founded the #casesmc chats and helped manage the CASE Blog and CASE Communities. She has presented at several conferences, including CASE Social Media and Community and the CASE District I conference.

Doak-Mathewson received her bachelor's degree at the University of Connecticut and her master's degree in communication, culture, and technology at Georgetown University.
