Bio

Joey is an accomplished fundraiser with experience in higher education and large non-profit organizations. In his current role at Stanford University, he manages a major gift portfolio with focus on San Francisco Bay Area, Texas, and Pacific Northwest regions for Athletics. He also serves as the co-lead for the Stanford Athletics Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, in addition to his role as the liaison to four varsity teams, including Stanford Women’s Volleyball, 2018 and 2019 NCAA Champions.

Prior to Stanford, Joey was a Principal Gifts Manager at the National Office of the Boy Scouts of America. He has also served as a chief development officer for Athletics at Catawba College, private college in the Southeast, and Winston-Salem State University, a public HBCU in North Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology at Lehigh University, and holds a Master of Science degree in Human Development and Leadership from Murray State University.
