Julia has six-and-a-half-years of experience in the areas of community engagement and philanthropy, largely spent working in the educational advancement sector at International Grammar School (IGS) in Sydney.

As IGS's first director of advancement, and in roles previously held at the School, Julia has been responsible for establishing alumni and fundraising programmes for IGS including an Annual Giving campaign, which was transformed into last year's successful Giving Day. Julia was also responsible for project managing the School's website redesign in 2017. 

Prior to working at IGS, Julia worked for the Australian Chamber Orchestra and for the Australian Embassy in Paris.
