Katie is a Digital Marketing Strategist at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement. She previously worked in public service and as a journalist. Katie is passionate about storytelling and ensuring good stories are found online by people seeking them. A proud Hawkeye, Katie earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Iowa. She is an advocate for creating content that provides the best possible user-experience and outcome, while meeting audiences where they are. Outside of work, she users her digital skills to bolster an online support community for mothers and helps fundraise for underprivileged children to participate in extracurricular activities.
