Bio

My name is Kirsty Malloy. I grew up in London but travelled to the North for my degree where I studied English Literature at the University of Leeds. I graduated last summer but stayed working at the University in the Taught Student Office in the School of Maths, most recently as their School Support Officer.

During my degree I carried out a placement year with the Leeds Alumni and Development Team which introduced me to the world of fundraising and development in higher education. Completing this placement is one of my proudest achievements as I was given the opportunity to gain experience across the team and through my enthusiasm my role was expanded and I was given greater responsibility over the course of the year. I am now very excited to be joining the Fundraising and Supporter Development Team at King’s College London in September.

Over the summer I have moved back down to London and I am working part-time for a local sailing club. Alongside work, I have been travelling, catching up with friends and learning to windsurf!
