Monica Stanciu has over a decade of experience in international, educational, and institutional fundraising in progressive roles at the United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) and the National University of Singapore. Her experience spans the full advancement spectrum: campaign management, establishing major gifts programmes, working with volunteers and boards, annual fund management, advancement services, and strategic marketing and communication. In her current role with UWCSEA, Monica supports strategy development as well as oversees the execution of all development activities and initiatives. She manages a multi-cultural team of seven professionals, in a supportive, high-performance, deadline-driven work environment. 

Monica's personal passion and professional ambition is to "make education a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future."

Monica has an MBA degree from one of Europe's leading business schools and has previously worked in marketing with a number of world-class FMCG companies.
