Myra Garcia, vice president for university advancement at the University of La Verne, is the newest member of the President's Executive Committee.

Prior to coming to La Verne, she served as vice president for institutional advancement at Wagner College, where she led, and successfully met and exceeded, a $50 million comprehensive campaign. She also held senior development positions at Seton Hall University, including being the lead fundraiser for a comprehensive campaign that exceeded $150 million, and Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Garcia sits on the CASE Commission on Philanthropy and holds a master's degree from Seton Hall University. Before entering the advancement field, she was a professional opera singer and musician.
