Julia Ayscue is the director of talent management for the office of development and alumni relations at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) where she is responsible for developing, communicating, and executing a comprehensive talent strategy that supports and promotes an inclusive and aspirational work environment. Throughout her more than 13-years at VCU, she has lead a university-wide compensation study, redesigned HR policy and programs, piloted internal executive recruitment and implemented a succession development program.

Julia holds a bachelor's degree in psychology with an emphasis in organizational development from the University of Georgia.
