Deb Gehrke, chief human resources officer, is responsible for recruitment and retention of a diverse employee base, oversight of employee benefits and compensation, and managing relationships with the seven collective bargaining units and plans represented on campus. She is also responsible for maintaining university human resources policies and ensuring the university’s adherence to them as well as other state and federal employment laws.

Deb holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology and business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She is a member of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources, and the Society for Human Resource Management.
