Brenda Johnson currently serves as the senior director of philanthropy for Year Up, Inc. As a member of Year Up's national development staff, she oversees and implements the organization's major giving development goals and objectives in the Atlanta market. Brenda enjoys connecting individual philanthropists to causes which align with their passions. Her areas of expertise include major gifts, capital campaigns and donor database systems Brenda also facilitates courses for the Georgia Center for Nonprofits as a nonprofit university faculty member. She earned a BS in engineering from Purdue University in 1995, where she also minored in sociology and political science.
