Mary-Kate Starkel is the director of development at redefinED atlanta. A seasoned nonprofit professional, Starkel has spent 15 years working on behalf of educational and youth serving organizations in program management and resource development roles, including positions that required the management of federal, state, and local contracts. Her most recent previous position was associate director with Horizons Atlanta, a six-week summer learning program serving over 1000 Atlanta area students. Starkel is an Atlanta native and graduated from Georgia State University with both her bachelors of social work and masters of public administration in nonprofit management.
