Since first joining the development and alumni engagement team in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia in 2016, Ophelia has served as a development assistant, development coordinator, and now, development officer in donor engagement. She is also a proud UBC alumna and received her bachelor’s degree in 2014. Ophelia has contributed to the Faculty of Medicine’s mission and reputation for excellence through her committed work with the donor community. Her contributions include the planning and execution of some of the faculty’s most notable events, collaboration with colleagues across the university, and managing the faculty’s endowment reporting process. She works closely with the frontline fundraising team to define best practices and support prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship strategies for projects across the Faculty of Medicine. Her work in donor engagement combines her passion for healthcare and science with creating meaningful experiences and connections.
