CASE Statement from CEO & President Sue Cunningham on the Changes to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
“The Council for Advancement and Support of Education applauds the recent U.S. Department of Education announcement that promises an overhaul of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. We are thrilled that those who work in educational institutions across the country to transform lives and society may be eligible for loan forgiveness under these new changes.
“The Department estimates that more than 550,000 borrowers will be positively affected by this policy. We encourage our members to alert their alumni and staff of these changes and to assist them in seeking more information as needed.”
