Early in his fundraising career, he attended CASE's Summer Institute—CASE's flagship training for newcomers to the profession. There he found fellow advancement professionals who love what they do. Here, Joseph, who's now Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement at Washington, D.C.,'s Sheridan School, reflects on the experience.
