“No matter what point your career is at, it’s just as important to mentor other people, to find a mentee.” 

That advice has stayed with Terence Joseph, an advancement professional based in Washington, D.C. 

Early in his fundraising career, he attended CASE's Summer Institute—CASE's flagship training for newcomers to the profession. There he found fellow advancement professionals who love what they do. Here, Joseph, who's now Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement at Washington, D.C.,'s Sheridan School, reflects on the experience.
