Make Your Fridays Fantastic
Does your Friday tend to be the least productive day of the week? If so, maybe it’s time to change that dynamic.
Laura Vanderkam, a time management expert, says Fridays are a perfect time to set yourself up for success and make a positive finish to your workweek.
Vanderkam suggests taking these three actions every Friday:
1. Plan your upcoming week. Take the time on Friday to strategize the week ahead by listing your priorities in these three categories: career, relationships, and self.
2. Give yourself time to deal with it. Keep your calendar free of meetings and events on Friday so you can have uninterrupted time to tackle projects and tasks you’ve had to set aside.
3. Do small tasks. Make Friday the day to catch up on lower-priority tasks, such as filing, responding to invitations, paying bills, etc. This way, you free up time during the week to focus on the big picture and top priority items.
