Participate in CASE Research Opportunities
CASE conducts ongoing survey research to stay up to date on trends in the advancement profession. CASE research focuses on all aspects of advancement to provide members with relevant information, tools and benchmarking resources for their institutions.
Here are the current open research opportunities:
2018 CASE Advancement in Schools Survey
The 2018 CASE Advancement in Schools Survey collects data on development and external relations initiatives in schools. The survey results will provide educational advancement professionals with information such as pertinent development statistics, best practice standards and more.
This survey aims to represent diversity in educational advancement across the globe in public, private, independent or international schools. The survey questions are inspired by CASE's decade-long involvement in the UK Schools' Philanthropic Giving Survey and the Fundraising in International School's Survey.
The survey will be hosted on the CASE Benchmarking Toolkit. To participate, register your school by completing the CASE Advancement in Schools Registration of Interest form. Participation in the survey is free for CASE members and for first-time participants.
The 2018 Charitable Giving to Universities in Australia and New Zealand Survey
The 2018 Charitable Giving to Universities in Australia and New Zealand Survey is currently open for participation. The survey, which collects data on fundraising and donorship trends in higher education and examines the overall impact of philanthropy on the higher education sector, is an important benchmarking tool for institutional leaders. The survey findings help university teams set objectives, assess performance, make informed investment decisions, lobby senior management for investment and improve overall departmental performance.
Last year's charitable giving report shows surveyed institutions increased their overall investment in fundraising and alumni relations by 11 percent and 15 percent respectively, in 2016 over 2015.
To participate, a member of staff from the university should contact the CASE Asia-Pacific team for further details.
