What are you most looking forward to as CASE’s new VP for Membership, Marketing and Communications?
Everything! Working with the global education community and the amazing CASE colleagues based around the globe. The opportunity to ensure CASE is relevant to its membership way into the future.
How did you get started in marketing and communications?
I had an internship when I left school with a global company called English China Clays as a marketing trainee. They sent me to university to study business and I loved marketing and communications from the start.
How do you describe your leadership style?
Authentic, inclusive and curious.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Be the change you want to see.
What’s your best tip for navigating periods of change?
Keep smiling, keep talking, keep the end goal in mind.
What’s something meaningful you keep on your desk or in your office?
A coaster from my time at university. As housemates, we had them made as we went our separate ways and it has stayed on my desk ever since. It’s faded and a bit crumbly around the edges but reminds that education transforms lives – it transformed mine.
