Sarah has been Loughborough University’s Supporter Relations Officer for eight years. In her stewardship role, Sarah uses her knowledge of motivational behaviour and psychology to ensure that she always follows the motto of ‘people don’t always remember what you say or do, but they will always remember how you made them feel.’

Sarah has experience in event management, customer service, managing her own pipeline of donors and volunteers, and implementing and creating stewardship and cultivation strategies and donor journeys for all giving levels including legacy gifts. Sarah also mentors several stewardship professionals across the UK and is launching the East Midlands Stewardship Network later this year with other stewardship professionals from Nottingham Trent and Nottingham University.
