Shilpa is the former President of the Avery Coonley School Alumni Council, a current member of the Council, and a member of the Board of Trustees for the school. She is also the Director of Professional & Continuing Legal Education at Northwestern Pritkzer School of Law. Prior to her role at Northwestern, she worked as an attorney in both Chicago and New York in the area of executive compensation and also previously worked at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law as the Director of Program Development for the Master of Science in Law Program.
