Tara leads The University of Queensland(UQ)'s Global and Institutional Philanthropy team, providing comprehensive oversight of established and emerging institutional and international markets. Her portfolio comprises whole-of-UQ Advancement initiatives including entrepreneurship, student strategy programs, international fundraising market development, enhanced research partnership collaboration and UQ-affiliated international foundation management. With two decades of experience, Tara also manages relationships with international alumni and philanthropic organisations at the major and principal gift level. Prior to UQ, she was a senior member of the Canadian Cancer Society's Leadership Philanthropy team following her work with a successful campaign to raise $200 million to build a new Children's Hospital in her hometown of Vancouver, Canada.
