A first-generation college graduate, Teresa believes deeply in the power of education to transform lives and the fundamental right of all children to have access to high-quality educational opportunities. Teresa has spent her 20+ year career fundraising for schools and non-profit educational organizations. Most recently she has served the independent school sector as Director of Advancement at Hackley School in Tarrytown, New York, and was previously Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Manhattanville College. Teresa is Vice Chair of the Independent School Leadership Group, a mentor and board member with Mount Vernon Star Scholars, Vice President of the Mount Vernon Educational Foundation, and an alumni interviewer for her alma mater. Outside of her passion for education, Teresa can be found wandering museums, taking in some theater, or dreaming up new cookie recipes.
