Tia Byrd joined the development staff at Washington and Lee University in 2006. She is currently the assistant director of research and analytics. Previously she was the assistant director of prospect research. She assisted in the overall management of the prospect development program at W&L, identifying, analyzing, and quantifying information on potential donors. Previously she was the assistant director of advancement services. She earned her B.S. in accounting from College of Charleston.
