Bio

Tina Imig is head of brand strategy at the University of Newcastle, Australia. She led the development of the university's award-winning brand campaign, "The World Needs NEW."

Before moving to Australia, Imig was a consultant/brand strategist working for clients including: Gap Inc., Kraft Foods, Nordstrom and Warner Bros.

A graduate of Northwestern University's master's program, she worked for Leo Burnett (Chicago) for 11 years where she served as vice president and senior strategist. Her clients included: Disney, Hallmark, Kellogg's and McDonald's. An expert in consumer behavior, brand strategy and market research, Imig has presented at multiple national and international marketing conferences.
