Writing: News/Feature (Series or Collection)
Entries should be a package or series of 3-5 related or themed articles. The articles must have been published in an institutional publication, or via an institutional website or digital publication, and may include news releases. Articles can be by multiple authors. Individual articles from a series or collection also may be entered into any other categories for which they meet eligibility requirements.
Note: As a writing category, judges will not consider design or presentation in their evaluation of entries, but will consider how information is organized.
Judges will score nominations from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in these five areas:
Overall concept and creativity
Research and reporting
Organization, writing, and editing
Understanding of target audience(s)
Use of resources (budget, people, and time) and return on investment
Judges may also consider:
Quality and clarity of nomination and supporting materials
Special circumstances/overcoming adversity
