Advancement Services: Data and Analytics
Entries should demonstrate a thoughtful, innovative approach to the use of data and analytics in support of educational advancement. Judges will look for projects that speak to better data gathering, analysis, and usability.
For example:
Donor prediction models
Unique donor or alumni data segmentation
Re-imagining reports for gift officers
Geo-targeting
Data visualizations
Do not enter:
Database conversions/upgrades. Enter those under Advancement Services Initiatives.
Judges will score nominations from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in these five areas:
Ability to serve as a model for other institutions
Creativity and innovation
Use of resources (budget, staff, and time) and return on investment
Goals and objectives
Impact and results
Judges also may consider:
Special circumstances/overcoming adversity
Quality and clarity of nomination and supporting materials
